Highly Commended – 2026 Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards

I am ecstatic to announce that The Slip by Miriam Webster has been Highly Commended in the 2026 Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards!

Thank you to the wonderful fiction judges Mel Fulton, Edwina Preston, Marina Sano and Elizabeth McCarthy, and a huge congratulations to the shortlistees and other highly commended authors.

Most of all, the biggest congrats to Mim, an absolute superstar. For her first book (of short stories, no less) and a debut title from a small press, this is such an achievement and a thrill. And I’m sure the first of many!
