Félix Daumier (1905-1967)

Born in Marseille. Loved son of Guillaume and Anaïs, brother of Maurice, rejoining them in heaven. Poet, author, illustrator, philosopher associated w. Breton and Surrealist movement. Graduated 1927, École Polytechnique (Electrical Engineering). Notable works inc. Orgasms and Taxidermy (poetry collection, 1928), The Unconscionable Golfer (erotic novella, 1936) and Ægon; or Oof! (egging of Marshal Phillipe Pétain, 1941). Detained as prisoner of war 1941-45. Post war, vacuum salesman and technician, secretary of French Artists Against the Notion of Elvis Presley. Died following an experiment with a microwave, left unfinished. Survived by a cat, Racine. Eh.


George Yankovich is an emerging writer from Kaurna land, South Australia. In 2022, he was longlisted for the West Australian's Best Australian Yarn short story competition and in 2021 was awarded the University of Adelaide's Bundey Prize for English Verse.
